Anime Expos are a place to find every conceivable anime character designed into cosplay costume. As more and more anime are released, the more cosplay options there are. However, when observing photographs of these conventions, there is still a popular trend of Naruto characters being portrayed by fans. Whether it's an aloof Kakashi Hatake and terrifying Hidan at the Los Angeles Anime Expo 2022 or an expertly sculptured Naruto Uzumaki at the Düsseldorf Expo in Germany, Naruto characters still appear in great numbers at anime conventions across the globe.

A major part of the unyielding interest in Naruto cosplay across the Western world is conjoined with how popular the anime was in the West during its runtime. Naruto was one of the growing number of series that influenced Western anime consumption alongside Dragon Ball Z and, more recently, Attack on Titan. This love for the series that stretched beyond the borders of Japan helps keep the series alive and thriving, even five years after its conclusion. Not to mention the sequel series, Boruto, is still keeping the Will of Fire burning.
